US Navy Free Concert & Movie at the Station

As part of the 2010 Navy Week in St. Louis,
the United States Navy will hold a celebration
at St. Louis Union Station
Thursday and Friday, September 2 & 3, 2010.
Part of the celebration will include Navy Flight Simulator
and other interactive displays.
Also two concerts featuring

Thursday Evening Sounds at the Station
St. Louis Union Station

The Sounds at the Station Free Concert Series is back and better than ever. St. Louis Union Station invites visitors to come on over, kickback and enjoy the Sounds at the Station during our annual free concert series. All concerts in the series will be held on the Lake Stage from 5 pm - 8:30 pm. In case of rain, the concerts will be moved inside the Station.

Kicking off the 2010 series ... Rough Grooves Blues Band.

Rough Grooves Blues Band

Originating in St. Louis, Rough Grooves creates high energy blues covering the blues greats and performing original compositions. From intimate clubs to large festivals, these musicians have been captivating audiences throughout the U.S. and Europe for over twenty years. Members of the band have performed and recorded with the legendary Johnnie Johnson, Juno Award winners Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne and Jim Byrnes and with Bennie Smith, and have opened for Albert King, Robert Cray, Joe Louis Walker, Chuck Berry, Bo Didley, Koko Taylor and many others. They have played at blues festivals in Holland, Germany, Norway and Hungary along with the Poconos Blues Festival, Mississippi Valley Blues Festival and the Big Muddy Blues Festival. The best way to experience this band is from out in the audience.

St. Louis Union Station will implement holiday hours on: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
